Welcome to Kredzy, a mobile application operated by Kredcommerce Systems Pvt Ltd ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, protect, and handle personal information when you use the Kredzy mobile application and related services.

Kredzy currently uses mobile-number and One-Time Password (OTP) authentication to allow users to create an account and securely access the application.

This Privacy Policy explains:

• When information may be shared with service providers or authorities;
• How you can request correction or deletion of your personal information.

Kredzy collects only the information that is necessary to provide and secure the application's current functionality.

A. Mobile Number

• Mobile Number: We collect your mobile number when you register or log in to Kredzy.
• Your mobile number is used to identify your account, send an OTP, authenticate your login, and provide account-related communications.

B. One-Time Password (OTP)

• OTP: A temporary one-time password is used to verify that you have access to the mobile number entered during login.
• The OTP is used for authentication and is not intended to be used as a permanent password.

C. Basic Account & Technical Information

Depending on how you use the application, we may process limited technical information necessary to operate and secure the service, such as app version, operating-system information, device information, IP address, and crash or diagnostic information.

We do not collect sensitive payment credentials such as UPI PINs, ATM PINs, credit-card CVVs, or net-banking passwords through the Kredzy app.

We use collected information for the following purposes:

• Account Authentication: To register and authenticate your Kredzy account using your mobile number and OTP.
• Account Security: To prevent unauthorized access, abuse, fraud, and suspicious activity.
• Service Delivery: To provide the features and services available through the Kredzy application.
• Customer Support: To respond to questions, complaints, and support requests.
• Service Communications: To send essential account, authentication, security, and service-related communications.
• Technical Improvements: To diagnose crashes, fix technical issues, maintain reliability, and improve application performance.
• Legal Compliance: To comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, and lawful government requests.

We do not sell or rent your personal information.

We may share limited information only when reasonably necessary to operate Kredzy, protect users, or comply with law, including with:

• Authentication and Communication Providers: Service providers that help deliver OTPs and essential service communications.
• Technology and Hosting Providers: Providers that host, maintain, secure, and operate our application and backend infrastructure.
• Service Providers: Trusted vendors that provide technical, operational, security, or customer-support services on our behalf.
• Legal and Government Authorities: When disclosure is required by applicable law, court order, regulation, or lawful government request.

Where third-party service providers process personal information on our behalf, we expect them to maintain appropriate confidentiality and security measures.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

• Secure Transmission: Information transmitted between the app and our servers is protected using appropriate security protocols.

No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including providing the service, maintaining account security, resolving disputes, preventing fraud, and complying with legal obligations.

• Account Information: Generally retained while your account remains active.
• Authentication and Security Records: May be retained for a limited period to protect the service and investigate security or fraud issues.
• Legal Records: Information that we are required to retain under applicable law may be retained for the legally required period.

When information is no longer required, we may delete, anonymize, or securely dispose of it, subject to applicable legal requirements.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information associated with your Kredzy account, subject to applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

What Happens After a Deletion Request?

• We will verify the request to protect against unauthorized deletion.
• Eligible personal information associated with the account will be deleted or anonymized within a reasonable period, normally within 30 days.
• Information that must be retained under applicable law may be kept for the required retention period and securely restricted.

Kredzy is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18 years of age.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we become aware that a child has provided personal information, we will take reasonable steps to delete it, subject to applicable legal requirements.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our application, services, technology, or legal requirements.

When we make material changes, we may notify users through the application, website, or other appropriate communication channels. The updated policy will include a revised “Last Updated” date.
